No Spyware, no Adware policy

According to the BeInSync policy, NO Spyware or Adware of any kind are included in the BeInSync software. BeInSync will not install any additional software on your system and will not be able to access any of your personal data.

Data and privacy protection

BeInSync is designed to handle your sensitive documents:

• All communications are Peer-to-Peer between the designated and password-authenticated computers only
• No BeInSync or third party server storage is used for any of your data, unless explicitly specified by you
• All communication is fully secured using strong 256-bit AES encryption

Additional precautions

BeInSync recommends you follow these best practices:

• Keep your password safe at all time.
• Do not use a username and password sent to you by anyone. Always choose your own.
• Choose a password that's long enough and difficult to guess.
• It is recommended not to accept share invitations from people you do not know.
